Sunset N-tower

Met up with Joe today, for the first time after clubbing (Finally! the first time we met was Early April), but the last time in S. Korea this time! He's gonna go back to the military tomorrow :((( Wish there was more time we could hang out together! He said he will come to NL again to visit, and I will either go to S.korea/the States to visit him. Was a long day for me today, I also got to meet 2 of his friends from the States, Candace & Anne! Great gurls.. real glad that I met them! <3 Before meeting Anne, I took Candace & Joe upto N Tower! why? cuz they never been!! .. I actually took 2 korean ppl upto a tower that's in their home country! the twist* hehe. Im So happy that I met up with Joe and his 2 friends today! More friends!! :D Me happy!

Celebs at Kyung Hee

Last friday was the last day of Kyung Hee's University festival, and on the last day, a concert was set up to end the festival, where all students of Kyung Hee was welcome, as long as they show their student card!! Free concert! I waited from 5pm - 7pm until the concert start! My butt was so sore that night, and the concert lasted from 7pm till 9:30pm! So I had to sit on hard concrete floor for 4.5hours!!! That night, I saw: Afterschool, Sondambi, Lee Hyori, and Rain!! The most famous ones I know! .. I'll show you pics and some videos now :P

Im so happppppy that I got to see them!!! This exchange period is so worth it!! well there are more reasons why its worth it too.. but this experience rocks!!

Dance club of Kyung Hee

This week is Festival week of Kyung Hee, because of their 60th Anniversary! Everywhere around the campus are filled with activities, games, food, drinks, performances, and etc. I managed to catch the dance performance by the dance club, and below are the videos that I recorded! They are pretty good, I wish I could dance half as good as them :P hehe.. One of my Taiwanese friend is also in the dance group, woohoo for him~ I might join the dance club for a few weeks to learn some moves.. hehe.. Tomorrow, is the last day of the festival, and apparently, Rain, Lee Hyori, SonDambi are coming!!!!!! im so watching!!!

Weekend surrounded by mountains

8 of my friends and I went to the mountains for the weekends, our goal was to visit a famous national park in Korea, called Seoraksan. We took the bus Saturday afternoon and came back on Monday, so we stayed 3 days and 2 nights there! It has been a long long time, since I traveled with my friends, and it turned out really GREAT! I loved the weekend I just had, traveling, eating, sleeping in a house, drinking, exploring, and going through everything together! They were like family for 3 days!! ... awwwww...

Saturday
Took the 12pm bus from the East Seoul terminal and arrived in Bakdamsa at 3pm. It was so different than the city! so nice to just get away for the weekend! Anyway, The lady from the guest house picked us up, and we stayed in a typical traditional korean house "Yellow mud house"! A nice experience too, warm heating from the floor, a 2-floor hut all to ourselves, and luckily we had mattress, if not I dont know how we can sleep.. We explored the area and realised it was a "no-man's land" almost no one lives here, so quiet! All we did that day was found the place to buy snacks, had dinner, and chilled at home, with snacks and drinks.

Sunday
Got out of bed and ready by 11am for the bus, arrived and had lunch, but only got to Seoraksan national park by 2pm. The area was so nice and calming! NATURe! The first and last course we did in Seoraksan was going to see the waterfall, which was 50mins walk away. Due to bad weather on the way back from the waterfall, cable car wasn't working :((( It was like a typhoon was about to hit! the wind here was CRAZY! even the polls were shaking! but guess wat, when we decided to leave because of bad weather, the freakin sky cleared and it turned nicer when we were back in the city :SS Psssh.. So we grabbed something to eat and headed for the hot spring/indoor swimming! .. Finally swam after 1.5years?? The night ended with buying drinks back to the house, then more chilling and drinking there.. hehe..

Monday
Woke up, packed, took some last minute group photos and left for the bus stop by 12pm. Took the bus at 12pm and arrived in Seoul at 2:30pm-ish.

My mountain weekend trip ended there.. not much details, hehe..
What happens in the mountains, stays in the mountains! hahahahaha!

Ceramic Festival

Yesterday (Saturday), there was a field trip that was organized by the Professors of Qm and POM. So we exchange students took this as an opportunity to see more of Korea, and its culture/traditions.. hehe,, We left at 10-ish in the morning, and it took us 2.5 hours to get there due to traffic jams!! It was horrible on the bus, me with no drink, no food, no music, not much talking, so., I just SLEpt! hehehe..

When we arrived, we went for a very traditional Korean Lunch! A table filled with Food, just enough place for you to put a bowl of rice, and a cup of water, all the other places were filled with dishes of food! After lunch, we went to the Ceramic Festival for 2 hours-ish, walked around, saw the ceramic exhibitions, many collections from around the world! I wanted to buy some ceramics things for my parents, but it was too expensive! and I have to watch my money, right mum and dad?? hehe.. So I bought 2 ceramics magnets instead, cheap, and mum's favourite.. LOL, Im so suckin up right now :P But ya, my afternoon ended after the ceramics festivals.

Then my night started!!! muahahahaha~
